    The ambiance of the hotel was good and the

    Staff were attentive and friendly. We were kinda surprised by the personalized service we received , especially during breakfast. We did experience some noise from the corridors at night which affected our sleep.

    Stayed for 7 nights, the hotel was spectacular and clean, it had particularly good and perfect location right next to the river. I really enjoyed the different room options, especially functional deluxe queen room with very nice balcony view, arguably the most comfortable bed, for instance...

    An lovely birthday celebration

    The staff went all out for my son's birthday, decorating our room beautifully and surprising us with a delicious cake. The river view was calming.

    Breakfast service was disappointing. Waitstaff seemed inattentive and we struggled to get our orders taken. It took far too long for the food to arrive.

    1) Its proximity to the main tourist attraction as well as the main "action" area of Malacca. 2) Its luxuriously appointed room and large bathroom 3) The fact that it is a boutique hotel 4) and finally, that instead of having a buffet breakfast of pre-cooked everything, it presented a smallish continental section buffet style, and then took the order for the "mains", and made it to order - a truly sensible way to serve hotel breakfast. I really liked the fact that each table was served its own stainless steel (double skin) plunger pot of coffee (no pre-made, half-cold, stewed coffee in sight) - or you could order cappucino or latte at no extra charge. This is a brand new hotel, and there were a couple of things that disappointed but were probably teething problems. I will say that the hotel staff were very quick to try to make amends and cannot be faulted by me in that regard.

    It was disappointing that the hotel website failed to mention that during Ramadan the hotel restaurant would only be having buffet dinners, not a la carte as advertised; from a hotel rating itself as 5 star I felt it wasn't up to the mark; We were underwhelmed by the lack of attention the bar staff paid to their customers and a seeming lack of familiarity with their drinks menu. I am hoping the building site next to the hotel has been completed the next time we visit Malacca. Obviously, its noise factor is beyond the hotel's control.

    Location is excellent. Service was really nice with small touches making a big difference. For example, we found a card on our windscreen when we left saying they had taken the liberty to clean our window for a clearer drive home. Just a small example of many small touches. The spa was really nice and the manager took the time to welcome us while we ate breakfast. Beautiful hotel overall.

    Just a suitable option for a short visit in Malacca with fantastic value. The infinity pool overlooking the river was a nice spot to relax after our outings. Try to enjoy the made-to-order breakfast. It's a great way to start the day!

    The room was super spacious, and I loved the beautiful river view. The bed configuration was perfect for my family, really comfy and accommodating. The bathroom was huge too, with both a bathtub and a standing shower-so nice! The ambiance felt cozy and clean. Not to mention the hotel was really well maintained. Good vibes all around!

    Peaceful ambiance, lovely infinity pool with view of the Straits. The rooms were appointed beautifully. The tile and wood were soothing, the sliding door window over the large and comfortable bath tub allowed for an open feeling and a view of the river. The bath salts and other toiletries had a gret scent. Excellent verandah with fan and night time candle. Well done.

    As a new hotel the staff in the restaurants will need to continue to work on their service efficiency. However, politeness and smiles were in plenty. Good food for a good price.
